Great server with great features, unfortunately It is not very populated. GMs seems very friendly and I had no major issues. The custom mechanics helps a lot. People argue that there's not many people online but forget that many peoplo from around the globe plays in it, so timetables may vary.

In a nut shell this server looks good until you get to the community. Friendliness doesn't exist there unless you're joining someone to treat another person poorly. For what ragnarok "needs" of a community-- there isn't one. New players with no ragnarok experience will just be outcasted and treated poorly by this community. These are the type of people who would joke about your mental well being with all the dastardly comments/insults that come with it. Everybody knows how wrong this is!

I think it's easy to recognize how much work Lunar has put in for his server, He catches up to kRO's update fairly quickly and not to mention his GM Team are always fair and reasonable, casual yet professional. Whether you have much time you have on your hands or not, This server has a great balance for game pace as you have the options to choose how fast you want to progress. As for the custom end game, In my opinion could be improved in terms of variety. PvM: Good PvP/WoE: Non-Existent

good server to play not p2w.My problem is that the graphic is to outdated or just to dark for me, you should add gramps quest on helheim server its really hard grinding for levels if you're using the low level rate and some of the eden group npc is missing when you're questing for it.And the server keeps on disconnecting without notice.

Playing on the kRO official-like server Helheim has been nice. You can get any costume headgear without paying real money and the server doesn't feel pay to win at all when it comes to stat gear. However the server says it has up to the 17.1 instances. But it only seems to have The Fall of Glast Heim. Also, it's quite behind as far as story/daily quests go. Since it's only up to 16.1 Banquet for Heroes for quests despite having 16.2 and 17.1 gear and maps. Which is very disappointing.

Please take this as constructive criticism. Lunar is a great GM, he is extremely friendly and keen to help. But its extremely difficult to get hold of him and messages go unacknowledged for days+. There is no sense of community and some guilds are just plain bullies. The auto events are lacking and GM held events are scarce and repetitive. There are some nice people on the server, so do give SMRO a shot. If you find them, you'll have so much fun on this server and the features it offers.

My experience with Shining Moon RO is limited only to the Niflheim server, so take this review with a grain of salt. The server is small but up to date, and offers the user the ability to choose their EXP. Sadly, however, I would NOT recommend this server. The head GM, Lunar, is apathetic to the concerns of the community. If you voice something they do not agree with, expect to get publicly debased and ostracized. I regret donating to a server that does not treat its users fairly, as humans.

Have been playing this server since the first week of its release. I am very satisfied with how most of it closely it resembled the official kRO server. There are a few customization like fort pit dungeon and fortressa dungeon. But that's because you can obtain the items which are supposedly from the cash shop in official by farming them. GM are active in the discord but not so much in the server. Players are very helpful. No sign of guild competition, PvP or BG but it is a good PvM server.

For a server with not much population I really don't understand how the economy here is so bloody ridiculous. Each and every item in the vend are grossly overpriced. Prices here are double/quadruple of that from another more famous renewal server. Everything else from this server is okay-excellent. Its the economy thats turning me off bigtime. For now I cant recommend this server to newcomers. Might as well play on the other server with more accesible prices.

[Helheim]Clearly,The server is currently in the list for the top renewal servers today. QoL changes are nice,Lunar is a friendly guy,advanced looting system is great,World bosses are kinda meh,& the server is too focused in PVM.Not that I'm saying that it's bad, but seeing how the server is going today,i can definitely say that it's too boring.The only challenging part about the game is getting perfect enchants.Dont hate me on this, I love the server but Munbalance was a mistake.
